Dates set for 2023-24 school year at LISD

The Lockhart ISD Board approved its school calendar for the next school years (2023-2024). Classes will begin on Wednesday, Aug. 16, and will end on Friday, May 24, 2024.
Included among the dates will be a full five class days off for Thanksgiving and an 11-day break for Christmas.
There will also be a Spring Break and two days built in for Bad Weather.
Next week – March 13-17 – will be Spring Break 2023 at LISD campuses.
