Dave McMullen

Dave Harlon McMullen was born to David Crockett McMullen and Sarah Augusta Voigt McMullen on Sept. 22, 1914, in Delhi, Texas. Harlon went home to be with the Lord on June 24, 2011, at the age of 96 years, nine months and two days.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Alta Lee; his parents; and all of his siblings: Minnie Davis, Lessie Lancaster, Olan McMullen, L

oisy Davis, Effie Seidel, Houston McMullen, Alvin McMullen and Claudia Stacy.

He is survived by his dear sister-in-law Zelpha Echols, a host of nieces and nephews and many friends who loved him dearly.

Visitation was held June 27, 2011, at McCurdy Funeral Home. Services were held June 28, 2011, at the Delhi Baptist Church.  Interment followed at Delhi Cemetery.
