Deborah Kay Magana
Deborah Kay Magana, 59, of Houston, passed away on Feb. 5, 2012.
She was born in Kingsville, Texas, on Nov. 14, 1952, to Kenneth D. Seitz and Regina Rita Robicheaux. She married Victor Manuel Magana on Dec. 31, 1987.
Ms. Magana graduated from Nichols State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Therapy, and earned a master’s degree in speech pathology from LSU-New
Orleans. She was a manager with the Harris County Department of Education, and a member of both the Texas Speech and Hearing Association and the American Speech and Hearing Association.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one brother, Donald Seitz.
She is survived by her sister, Barbara Chouest, of Cut Off, La.
Graveside services were scheduled at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 8, 2012, at the Harwood Masonic Cemetery, with Father Howard Goertz presiding.
