Dewey Kenneth Purcell

Dewey Kenneth Purcell, 69, of Seguin, passed away on May 2, 2008. He was born to Ellis and Rose Purcell, on Dec. 1, 1938, in Bastrop, Texas.
Dewey was married to his wife Doraine on Jan. 10, 1961, in Lockhart.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Dewey is survived by his wife, Doraine; sons, Dewey Casey Purcell and James Lee Purcell, both of Seguin; si

sters, Kathy Strittmatter, of Lockhart, and Janice Nutt, of Bastrop; and grandchildren, Zachery Lee Purcell and Dewey Lee Purcell.
Visitation with the family was held on Monday, May 5, 2008, at McCurdy Funeral Home, and services were on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at McCurdy Memorial Chapel with Rev Wayne Walther officiating. Burial followed at the Old Red Rock Cemetery.
