Domestic Violence Awareness Walk Saturday

Caldwell County will hold its 10th annual Domestic Violence Awareness Walk on Saturday, Oct. 7 at 9 a.m. at the downtown Lockhart square.

The public is invited to come out, wear purple and show their support by listening to survivors speak and walking in a show of solidarity to support victims, lift up survivors and honor the taken. Water and snacks will be provided.

The event is sponsored by the Caldwell County District Attorney’s Office and co-sponsors include the Lockhart Police Department, Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office, retired victims services advocate Licia Edwards, and the Hays-Caldwell Women’s Center.
