Dora R. Lopez

Mrs. Dora R. Lopez was born Feb. 21, 1939, to Domingo Resendez and Ester Villalobos. She passed away on Oct. 13, 2012.

She is survived by her daughter, Gena Juarez (Stevie); son, Diego Lopez (Mary Ann); brother, Eliazar Resendez; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and longtime companion, Ezequiel Mandujano.

Prayer service was held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 16,

2012, at the DeLeon Funeral Home. Funeral service was held 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012, at Faith-Fe Presbyterian Church. Burial followed in Santa Maria Aida Cemetery in Maxwell, Texas.

Honored to serve as pallbearers were Mark Lopez, Eric Juarez, Adam Resendez, Stevie Martinez, Rudy Perez and Andy Gonzales, and honorary pallbearer, Christopher Baltierra.

Services were under the direction of Samuel J. DeLeon and Son/DeLeon Funeral Home 110 Cedar St. Lockhart, Texas 78644.
