Edna Elrod
Edna Elrod, of Lockhart, Texas, passed away on Nov. 28, 2012, at the age of 95. She was born on June 18, 1917, in Lockhart, to Andrew W. and Freida Augusta (Fisher) Starr.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Carroll O. Miears, Henry Pfeiffer and Kenneth M. Elrod; her parents; two brothers, Vallen L. Starr and Wallace Oran Starr; and one sister, Lonie Ray Ellis.
She
is survived by three sons, John W. Miears and wife, Caren, of Atlanta, Ga., Carroll Dean Miears and wife, Jo Nell, of Yoakum, Texas, and Keith Elrod and wife, Judy, of Alamogordo, N.M.; one sister, Allene A. Bray of Perry, Ga.,; six grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, at McCurdy Funeral Home, with Minister Bob Hailey officiating. Interment to follow weather permitting at Lockhart City Cemetery.

I am truly sorry for your loss. We can all look forward to seeing
