Eugene E. Alsop

July 17, 1940 – May 6, 2006
Eugene “Geno” E. Alsop passed away on May 6, 2006 at the age of 65.
He is survived by his wife Nancy of Lockhart; mother Helen Springer of Pueblo, Colo.; sons Danny Alsop of Denver, Colo., Tommy Alsop of Tucson, Ariz., Timothy Alsop of Germany and Anthony Alsop of Denver, Colo.; daughter Candy Sue Withcer of Lockhart; brothers Jerry Al

sop of Golden,Colo., Randy Stevens of Missouri and Ronald Alsop of Littleton, Colo; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Geno and his wife moved to Lockhart, Texas in 1985 and went to work for Sears Siding. He was loved by all – he never said a word against anyone. Geno loved to pick and sing on his guitar with his friends at local bars. His pride and joy of the last 10 years was his granddaughter Kelly Ann Witcher, whom he helped raise.
Cancer and other medical problems took Geno away, and he will be missed. He was a loving, dear husband, father and grandfather.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 10, 2006 from 5- 7 p.m. at Eeds Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2006 at 1 p.m. at Eeds Funeral Home.
