Evelyn Dalton

Evelyn Pauline Dalton, age 89, passed away peacefully with family at her side on Monday, April 30, 2007.
Evelyn was born on Dec. 17, 1917, to Oscar Seeliger and Laura Goebel Seeliger in Lockhart, Texas. Evelyn resided in Lockhart her whole life. She graduated from Lockhart High School in 1935 and from Nixon-Clay Business College.

were married on Aug. 31, 1940. Their daughter Kay was born while Wesley was stationed in Africa during World War II.
Evelyn worked at Rosenwasser”s Department store as a bookkeeper, cashier and buyer for over 30 years. After retirement she devoted life to her family.
Ebbie, as her family and friends called her, was preceded in death by her parents, Laura and Oscar Seeliger, and her husband, Wesley Dalton.
Evelyn is survived by her sister Estelle Wilson; daughter, Kay Hiscoe; granddaughter, Julie Pevehouse; nieces Peggy Hoffman and Patty Williams; and numerous other family members and friends.
