Movies at the Baker Theatre Presents ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’

Our Christmas for you. Thanks to our community, patrons and volunteers for all your support. Enjoy free admission! A holiday favorite for generations... George Bailey has spent his entire life giving to the people of Bedford Falls. All that prevents rich skinflint Mr. Potter from taking over the entire town is George's modest building and loan company. But on Christmas Eve the business's $8,000 is lost and George's troubles begin. Free entry is made possible by the generous sponsorship of G&E Auto Repair.

LIVE NATIVITY

Horse-drawn wagons take you through a wooded park to view scenes depicting the events that surround the birth of the Savior.  Live entertainment, warm fires and refreshments await you in the shelter.  This event is free, however; we would appreciate non-perishable food donations to help battle hunger in our community.  This will be held in Jensen's Grove, Saturday, December 21, and Sunday, December 22 from 5pm - 8pm.  DRESS WARMLY!

Holiday Lights Bike Ride

Help us deck the halls by cycling around Lockhart neighborhoods checking out the best Christmas lights. Light up your own bike, bring a thermos and some water. Meeting at the shop at 5:30, departing by 6PM. Back by 7ish. There may be hot chili awaiting our return… Don't forget to BRING THE KIDS!!

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade and Luncheon

District 1 PRIDE will host Lockhart's annual Martin Luther King, Jr. parade on Monday, January 20, 2020. The march will begin at 10 a.m. at the corner of M.L.K. Boulevard and Seawillow Road and will end at the Connection Center (200 S Blanco St, Lockhart, TX 78644) across from the Postal Office. A free luncheon and program will be provided with dessert and silent auction benefiting the District 1 PRIDE Senior Scholarship. Transportation to the starting point of the march will be provided by Goldstar buses for anyone who needs a returning ride to their vehicle.
