Lockhart Western Swing & BBQ Festival – Saturday & Sunday

This is an annual festival celebrating Western Swing Music, BBQ, and Texas Culture. September 27 - 29. Plus 32nd Annual Texas Western Swing Hall of Fame Show. Saturday and Sunday include free performances throughout the day. 41st Annual St. Mary’s Catholic Church String Prairie Homecoming Bazaar

Bar-B-Que Beef Plate with all the trimmings and homemade bread! Serving 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Dine-in or carry out. Adults - $10 / Children (under 10) $5. Sunday, September 29th Sunday’s activities start at 11 am and end at 3:30 pm at stages located at Smitty’s Market, Blacks BBQ, the PEARL, and Kreuz Market. All of Sunday's events are free to the public.  Be sure to check out the schedule. National Night Out in Lockhart

From 5:00 p.m. to 9 p.m. on October 1st, neighbors throughout the City of Lockhart are asked to lock their doors, turn on their front porch lights and spend the evening outside with neighbors and law enforcement. Along with the traditional outside lights and front porch vigils, most cities celebrate National Night Out by hosting block parties, cookouts, and various community events with safety demonstrations, youth events, visits from emergency personnel, and exhibits. Evening with the Authors

Please join us October 5, 2019 from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m for an unforgettable evening of conversation with locally and nationally renowned authors, gourmet food and wine in a lovely outdoor setting. Texas songwriter Fletcher Clark celebrates the release of his latest CD with a performance and reception. He is joined by sidemen Howard Kalish (fiddle) and Mike Harris (dobro/mandolin). There will be a suggested donation to compensate the musicians.
