From nom to om: BBQ businessman buys yoga studio

You wouldn’t expect a guy who owns one of Central Texas’s best-known barbecue joints to have an appreciation for fitness and a svelte physique.
But then, maybe you haven’t met Keith Schmidt, owner of Kreuz Market but also part owner of Easy Tiger Yoga in San Marcos, which recently expanded its empire, taking over Vardo Yoga and Bazaar at 207 E. Market, Ste. A in Lockhart.
Schmidt, who looks years younger than the almost 49 he’s lived, will tell you that’s pretty much the whole point. He says he’s been into body building for years.
