Receiving Academic All-District Honors were Whitney Winn, Tara Chapman,
Adrian Carter and Mariah Carter.
“I just want to say how proud I am of the Lady Lion Basketball Team. They gave 32 minutes every time they stepped on the floor, and as a coach you can’t ask for anything more,” said Johnston.
“We gave it a great run…4th place in district 26-4A was not bad,” said Johnston. “I’m going to miss this team. They were really special young ladies, and we not only worked very hard, we had fun along the way. I’m truly going to look back on this season with some very special memories.”
