July 10, 1947-March 23, 2025

With hearts full of love and gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the passing of Gloria Perez McKean, who entered eternal rest on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at the age of 77. A lifelong resident of Lockhart, Texas, Gloria was a beacon of warmth, kindness, and unwavering strength to all who knew her.

Gloria was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Benjamine and Rosalvina Perez, and her youngest brother, Ben Perez, Jr. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy of love and devotion lives on in those she leaves behind. She is survived by her cherished siblings, Rosa Serrato, Louisa Davila, Hope Gamez, and Victor Perez; her loving daughters, Sophie Yanez and Zephora Ramirez; and the greatest joys of her life—her grandchildren, Tiffany Torres, Lauren Yanez, Zariella Ramirez, and Zienna Ramirez, along with her precious great-grandson, Jaylon Avila.

Gloria’s life was a testament to the power of love, faith, and family. She was a woman of quiet strength and deep compassion, always offering a helping hand and a listening ear. Whether sharing laughter with family, nurturing her grandchildren, or simply offering words of wisdom, Gloria’s presence brought comfort and joy to those around her.

Family and friends are invited to DeLeon Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, for visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at noon, where we will celebrate her beautiful life and the countless memories she gifted us.

Though she may no longer walk among us, Gloria’s love will forever remain in our hearts. May she rest in eternal peace, embraced by the arms of the Lord.
