Elizabeth Ann Tamayo, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and cousin, was a cherished member of her family, and passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 18, 2024. She was 54.

Born in Lockhart, Texas, Elizabeth, known as “Lisa” to those close to her, was known for her unwavering kindness, gentle spirit, and dedication to her family. She touched the lives of many with her warm smile and generous heart.

Throughout her life, Elizabeth exemplified resilience, overcoming challenges with quiet determination. She found joy in simple pleasures: spending time with her family, which included her nieces, nephews, and cousins. She loved being around children, enjoying their laughter and caring for them as her own. Her true devotion was to her mother. She cared for her mother and they had a bond that was strong and yet comical. She never forgot a birthday. She was always sure to deliver a wonderful pastry her mother had made to give to the person with a smile and a laugh.

Her kindness was evident in her actions towards others, always ready to lend a helping hand to family and friends in need—whether volunteering to run errands or stopping by to check on them. Her resilience also allowed her to offer a compassionate yet firm presence when it was needed most.

Elizabeth leaves behind her mother, Mary Martha (Eureste) Tamayo; sister Patricia (Tamayo) Gonzales; nephew Robert Amaya (Ashley); nieces Trinity Castillo, Jenna Dolan (Steven); great-niece, Marisol Amaya; and great-nephew, Jordan Dolan. She also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who will forever cherish her memory and the profound influence she had on their lives.
