Jermaine Hill was born June 21, 1976 in Caldwell County.  He was the last of seven children born to Norma Jean Hill and Frank James Hill, Sr.

Jermaine professed Christ at an early age and united with Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church.  He matured as a student and athlete and became an exceptional football player and powerlifter. He continued his academics by attending Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas and Austin Community College in Austin, Texas.  After college he began his professional career at Dell Computers Inc. where he worked as an Assembly Senior Technician for 12 years. As time passed, he became a Livestock Farm Owner and a Self-employed contractor becoming very active in St. John Colony and surrounding areas. Although his health began to deteriorate, Jermaine continued to serve his community by performing home remodels, cement work, landscaping, and caretaking for the St. John Colony Cemetery.

On December 3, 2020, Jermaine was called home. He was preceded in death by his father Frank James Hill, Sr., mother Norma Jean Hill, brother Frank James Hill, Jr., and brother Darryl Lynn Hill. He leaves to cherish his memory his siblings, Cheryl (James) DeShay of Austin, Cynthia Hill-Miller of Austin, Mary Hill-Hubbard of St. John Colony, Derrick (Kim) Hill of Round Rock, Jerry Wright of Pflugerville, and a multitude of relatives and friends who will forever know him as a wonderful son, brother, uncle, cousin, friend, BBQ Pitmaster and a good man.

Public viewing will be held Friday, December 11, from 3 to 6 p.m. at A Life Celebration by Franklin, 1309 E. 12th Street Austin, Texas 78702. Funeral Service will be Saturday, December 12 at 2 p.m. at St. John Regular Missionary Baptist Church, 110 St. Johns Rd., Dale, Texas 78616
