Jimmie Walenta, 53, of Dale, Texas, passed away Saturday, Feb. 4, 2006 in Austin, Texas.
He was born on Feb. 8, 1952 in Austin to Adolph Walenta and Bonnie Martin Walenta. He was preceded in death by his father, Adolph Walenta.
Mr. Walenta is survived by wife Jo Ann Walenta of Dale; mother, Bonnie Floyd of Dale; step-father, Eugene Floyd of Dale; step-son, Patric

k Plant and wife Emily of Dale; brothers, Johnny Walenta and wife Kathy of Dale and Billy Walenta and wife Joyce of Mason; sisters, Shirley Kenney and husband Steve of Dale and Annette Puryear and husband Raymond of Niederwald; and grandchild, Kaylea Plant.
Visitation was held on Monday, Feb. 6, 2006 at McCurdy Funeral Home. Graveside service was held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2006 at Bunton Cemetery in Dale with Father Robert Becker officiating. Arrangements under the care of McCurdy Funeral Home, Lockhart.
