Jose Rodriguez

Mr. Jose Gilbert Rodriguez was born Oct. 9, 1954, to Jose Rodriguez and Romalda Juarez. He passed away on Jan. 20, 2012.

He is survived by his wife Cresencia Rodriguez; daughter, Nancy Rodriguez; sons, Gilbert Rodriguez and Marcos Rodriguez; sister, Yolanda R.  Cardenas; brothers, Blas Rodriguez, John Rodriguez, Pete Rodriguez and Mike Rodriguez; and three grandchildren.

Recitation of the rosary was held at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012, at the DeLeon Funeral Home. Funeral service was held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 23, 2012, also at the DeLeon Funeral Home. Burial followed at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Robert Perez, Rudy Ortiz, Amado Galvez, Rudy Saldana, Albert Yanez, Mike Velasquez and Emilio R. Hernandez, III.

Services were under the direction of Samuel J. DeLeon and Son/DeLeon Funeral Home, 110 Cedar St. Lockhart, Texas 78644.
