L.H.S. host tennis match

The Lockhart High School tennis team began their spring season at home against Elgin High School last Thursday, Feb. 9.
The practice match was in preparation for tournament play, which begins on Friday, Feb. 17, in Bastrop.
“While Lockhart was unable to come away with a victory against Elgin, everyone did a fantastic job, competing with heart and determination,”

Coach Krislyn Schnautz said.
The players that participated in last weeks match were doubles teams Bobby Brown and Joshua Massey, Mikey Martinez and Jesse Larkin, Sara Madrigal and Rosie Estrada, and Erika Tamaya and Raquel Hernandez. Singles players were Ashley Clark, Hadora Ginsberg, Havilah Maya, Raquelle Gonzales, and Lupita Bravo.
This Thursday, Feb. 16, the team will have another practice match against Lehman High School in Lockhart beginning at 4:00.
