Lady Hawks defeat Lady Lion softball
Lady Lions vs. Hendrickson
The Lady Lion varsity softball team played the Lady Hawks on Friday, March 24, at home resulting in a close defeat, 2-1.
Lockhart earned eight hits with Alyssa Gonzales going four for four at the plate with a triple in the seventh inning.
Hendrickson earned five hits with three errors.

obbi Schulle, Noelle Marquina, Janie Juarez, and Yvette Alarcon.
Defensively, leading the Lady Lions were Megan Davilla at the mound and Janie Juarez at the catcher position.
Lady Lions vs. Taylor
The Lady Lions matched up against the Lady Ducks on Tuesday, March 21, for a victorious game, 7-6, on the road.
In the nine-inning game, the Lady Lions scored three of their runs in the top of the ninth.
“Megan Davilla was pitching a great game but in the top of the fifth inning dislocated one of her fingers while running the bases,” Coach Lisa Cone said. “But Megan tough it out for two more innings.”
Adrianna Parra took the mound in the top of the seventh inning and earned one out.
Lady Lions vs. Connally
The Lady Lions hosted the Lady Cougars on Friday, March 17, for a defensively tough game.
“Pflugerville Connally has not lost a game in district so we were expecting a fight,” Cone said.
The game was scoreless through the first five innings. The Lady Cougars scored all of their runs in one inning.
The Lady Lions lost 4-2 but had more hits than Connolly.
“The difference in the game was our three errors to their one,” Cone added.
