Keep Lockhart Beautiful big winner of Pickin’ Panel

Keep Lockhart Beautiful will receive $500 courtesy of the Lockhart Post-Register, as it was the pre-selected charity of the winner of The Original Black’s Barbecue Pickin’ Panel.
Post-Register Editor Kyle Mooty edged Caldwell County District Attorney Fred Weber by just two picks over the 255-pick season.
The Super Bowl selection included several prop bets. Chad Nevill, manager of The Original Black’s BBQ, won the week with a 10-5 record.
Five of the eight members of the panel correctly picked Philadelphia to beat Kansas City, with Weber picking the widest margin at 34-24 (final score was 40-22).
