The Lady Lion team finished a very successful year having returned to the top as District Champions, and will return 5 of its top 7 runners next season.
“This group of outstanding young ladies should really be proud of themselves for the season they had,” Coach Lee Datesman said. “Everyday I have asked for their absolute best. Never once was I disappointed. This relatively young group was asked to compete against the best in the state on many occasions. They never backed down. They never will. While our season was just tremendous with the district championship, our best days are still to come.
” I also want to thank the community and our parents for the tireless support of our program,” he added.
