Lady Lion soccer victorious over Lehman, 8-0
Lady Lions vs. Lehman
The Lady Lion soccer team traveled down the road to take on the Lehman Lobos on Friday, March 3.
The Lady Lion offense set the pace early on in the game by applying immediate offensive pressure.

. The Lady Lions wasted no time adding to their lead. Sophomore Brianna Hinnekamp scored the second and third goals of the night. The Lady Lions led at halftime with a score of 3-0.
The second half started just where the first half left off with the Lady Lions scoring goals. Junior Ashley Simon netted her first goal of the game. Senior Krystal Laws put goal number five on the board for the Lions with the assist by Ashley Simon. Senior Lizveda Perez scored her first goal of the year making it a 6-0 game.
The Lady Lion attack continued with Simon adding her second goal of the night. The final goal of the evening was credited to senior Lizveda Perez, her second of the night.
The final tally at the end of the evening was an 8-0 victory by the Lady Lions. The Lady Lion soccer team is 4-6-2 in district and will be at home for their last two district games. Lake Travis will be in town Friday night. The game is set to kickoff for 6 p.m. at Lion Stadium.

Lady Lions vs. Dripping Springs
The Lady Lion soccer team battled district”s first place team, the Dripping Springs Lady Tigers, on Tuesday night, Feb. 28, at Lion Stadium.
The Lady Lions stymied the Dripping Springs offense during the first half and created several scoring opportunities themselves.
Lockhart put a goal past the Dripping Springs goalie, but it was called back due to a penalty. The scoreboard at halftime read 0-0.
In the second half, the Lions kept pace with their opponents early on. However, the offense for Dripping Springs finally broke through the Lion defense.
With four-second half goals, Dripping Springs defeated the Lady Lions 4-0. “The entire Lady Lion team played with heart, grit, and determination throughout the entire game,” Coach Tim Bayliss said.
