Lady Lion volleyball fall to Hays

The Lockhart Lady Lions met the Hay Lady Rebels in the Lions” Den on Friday, Aug. 19, resulting in a tough loss after three games.
Defensively, the Lady Lions hustled to the ground with 15 digs coming from Krystal Laws with four, Kelly Witte with five, Lyndsey Wilson with three and Brianna Hinnenkamp with three.
Natalie Raemsch completed a great defensive play as

she blocked a hard hit from a Lady Rebel. Raemsch added another point to the scoreboard after sending an ace serve to Hay”s courtside.
Offensively, the Lady Lions made six kills against the tenacious Hay”s defense. Witte completed four kills, Hinnenkamp made two kills, and Ashley Moore completed two kills. Laws gathered six assists during the match-up.
The Lady Lions next home game will be against Floresville on Tuesday, Aug. 30, at 5, 6, and 7 p.m.
