REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP)
ADMINISTRATION PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
The City of Lockhart plans to apply for a Texas Community Development Block Grant (TxCDBG) Program Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA).
Accordingly, the City is seeking to contract with a qualified Professional Administrator or Service Provider (individual/firm) to prepare the application and/or administer the awarded contract. These services are being solicited to assist the City in its application preparation and administration of the TxCDBG contract, if awarded, to support the following: Public Infrastructure improvements activities for the City of Lockhart.
The City shall receive proposals no later than 5:00 p.m. on December 27, 2016. The City reserves the right to negotiate with all individuals or firms that submit proposals, as per the Texas Professional Services Procurement Act and the Uniform Grant and Contract Management Standards.
Section 3 Residents and Business Concerns, Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises, and Women Business Enterprises are encouraged to submit proposals.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The City of Lockhart Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at 7:00 P.M. in the Glosserman Room at City Hall, 308 West San Antonio Street, Lockhart, Texas, to receive public comments regarding a proposed ordinance amending Chapter 64 “Zoning” of the Lockhart Code of Ordinances, Section 64-196 “Establishment of Zoning Districts”, by adding the following use as a specific use in the CMB Commercial Medium Business District:
(i) Commercial Central Business District (CCB)
(2)The following uses require a specific use permit: o. Warehousing for local sales and distribution.
The City of Lockhart City Council will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, January 3, 2017, at
7:30 PM in the City Council Chamber, 3rd floor of the Clark Library-Masonic Building, 217 South Main Street, Lockhart, Texas, to consider this zoning text amendment, public comments, and the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission.
All interested persons wishing to state their support or opposition may do so at either of these public hearings; or they may submit a written statement to the City Planner or his designee for presentation to the Planning and Zoning Commission and/or City Council before the time the public hearing begins.
