The Plum Creek Conservation District, Lockhart, Texas is requesting sealed bids from qualified, responsible bidders to construct the rehabilitation of Plum Creek Watershed Site 6 Floodwater Retarding Structure. Site 6 is located off the intersection of G

oforth Road and Bebee Road approximately 3.3 miles Northeast of Kyle, Hays County Texas.

Estimated Price Range: Between $5 and $10 million

The major items of work are (quantities are approximate):

One award for all items will be made. Performance time is 518 calendar days. Plum Creek Conservation District reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids. A 5 percent bid guarantee is required. The successful bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds.

Invitation for Bids (IFB) documents will be available electronically beginning July 14, 2015. Complete IFB documents and a Plan Holders Registration Form / Terms & Conditions may be viewed and downloaded at no charge from the Plum Creek Conservation District website: www.pccd.org/ and click on Job Bids tab and then IFB No. PCCD-15-PCW6-01. No printed copies of the IFB will be distributed to interested parties, but a printed copy is available for viewing at the Plum Creek Conservation District office.

Bids will be received at Plum Creek Conservation District office, 1101 W. San Antonio Street, Lockhart, Texas 78644 until 10:00 a.m. local time August 11, 2015. Electronic, facsimile, and telegraphic bids will not be considered. A pre-bid conference and site showing will be held at 10:00 a.m. local time on July 28 beginning at the Plum Creek Conservation District office.

Bid Notice

Lockhart ISD invites qualified vendors to submit Proposal responses for advertising opportunities at LISD. The District is giving potential advertisers the opportunity to market their products or services to the District’s students, staff, parents, spectators, and others who visit the various events held at LISD facilities. The District is interested in entertaining proposals for purchasing and/or advertising on scoreboards or signs at Lion Baseball field, Lion’s Den (main competition gym at High School), Jr. High Football Stadium and Jr. High gyms. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN OF A PUBLIC HEARING BY THE DISTRICT JUDGES FOR THE PURPOSE OF SETTING SALARIES OF THE COUNTY AUDITOR, ASSISTANT AUDITOR AND COURT REPORTERS.

AMENDED NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

 

This revised notice changes the date of the previously announced City Council public hearing.

The Planning and Zoning Commission hearing date remains the same.

 

The City of Lockhart Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in the lower level of City Hall, 308 West San Antonio Street, Lockhart, Texas, to receive public input regarding the following:

 

ZC-15-04. A request by James Quezada, for a Zoning Change from CMB Commercial Medium Business District to CCB Commercial Central Business District on part of Lots 1 and 6, Block 28, Original Town of Lockhart, consisting of 0.185 acre located at 109 West Walnut Street.

 

All interested persons owning property within 200 feet of this property wishing to state their support or opposition must do so at this Public Hearing; or they must submit a written statement to the City Planner or his designee for presentation to the Planning and Zoning Commission at or before the time the Public Hearing begins.

 

In the event that property owners should desire to protest the action of the Planning and Zoning Commission, they must: (1) file their written protest with the City Secretary on or before five days prior to the Public Hearing before the City Council; and, (2) the written protest must be signed and acknowledged by the owners of at least 20 percent of the land included in the proposed change, or by owners of at least 20 percent of the land area within a 200-foot radius of the boundary of the proposed change. To be a valid protest, both conditions (1) and (2) above must be met or the petition will be rejected.

 

The Public Hearing before the City of Lockhart City Council has been RESCHEDULED to Thursday August 13, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. The meeting will take place in the City Council Chamber on the 3rd floor of the Clark Library-Masonic Building, 217 South Main Street, Lockhart, Texas. The City Council will consider this zoning change request, the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission, and any valid protests.
