CITY OF LOCKHART

PUBLIC BID FOR FUELS

The City of Lockhart is accepting annual supply bids for approximately 40,000 gallons of unleaded plus gasoline and 26,000 gallons of Nol. 2 dyed diesel fuel. A minimum of two-thousand five hundred (2,500) gallons would be ordered at any given time. The price of fuels may increase or decrease based on

the weekly average Oil Price Information Service (OPIS) price published each Thursday from the Austin, Texas, Rack. The amount designated as the supplier’s profit margin per gallon must include delivery and must remain the same during the term of the contract. The contract term will be from one year from the date of approval by the City Council. Bid award may be separate for each fuel. Required forms for bid submittal are available from the Public Works Office at 705 Wichita Street during normal business hours.

 

Bids must be received by 2 pm, Friday, December 18, 2015 at City Hall, 308 W. San Antonio Street, Lockhart, Texas 78644. Bids not received by this time and date will be rejected. Bid envelopes should be externally marked to indicate “Fuel Bids”.

 

The City of Lockhart reserves the right to reject any and all fuel bids.

Proposed Additions and Amendments to the District”s Rules

 

The Gonzales County Underground Water Conservation District (the “District”) will hold a public hearing for the purpose of receiving comments on proposed additions and amendments to District Rule 16- REQUIREMENTS FOR DRILLING, COMPLETING, EQUIPPING AND REWORKING WELLS and District Rule 21 -PLUGGING AND CAPPING OF WELLS.

 

The Board of Directors will take public comments on these proposed rules on December 8, 2015 at the Commissioner”s Courtroom in the Gonzales County Courthouse, Gonzales, Texas. The public hearing will begin at 5:30p.m.

 

Agenda is as follows:

 

  1. Call to order.

 

  1. President of the Board to make comments.

 

  1. Receive comments from the public on proposed additions and amendments to the District”s rules.

 

  1. Adjourn.

 

Copies of the current rules of the District and the proposed amended rules are available at the offices of the Gonzales County Underground Water Conservation District, 920 St. Joseph, Room 129, Gonzales, TX from 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m., Monday through Friday and are also available

on the District website.

 

Written comments should be submitted to the General Manager, P.O. Box 1919, Gonzales, TX 78629 or presented at the hearing. The deadline for submission of written comments is December 8, 2015 at 12:00 p.m.

Through this process $204,208 will be available to local governments, public schools and school districts, and special law districts created in accordance with state law, and with the authority and responsibility for water quality protection or municipal solid waste management.
