NOTICE OF
REQUIREMENT TO
COMPLY WITH THE
SUBDIVISION SERVICE EXTENSION POLICY OF
POLONIA WATER
SUPPLY CORPORATION
Pursuant to Chapter 13.2502 of the Texas Water Code, Polonia Water Supply Corporation (PWSC) hereby gives notice that any person who subdivides land by dividing any lot, tract, or parcel of land, within the service area of PWSC, Certificate of Convenience and Necessity No. 10420, in Caldwell and Bastrop County, into two or more lots or sites for the purpose of sale or development, whether immediate or future, including re-subdivision of land for which a plat has been filed and recorded or requests more than two water service connections on a single contiguous tract of land must comply with the service extension policy stated in the tariff contained in PWSC tariff.
Polonia Water Supply Corporation is not required to extend retail water utility service to a service applicant in a subdivision where the developer of the subdivision has failed to comply with the Subdivision Policy.
Among other requirements, the Subdivision Policy requires:
Evaluation by PWSC of the impact a proposed subdivision service extension will make on PWSC’s water supply service system and payment of the cost for this evaluation;
Payment of reasonable cost or fees by the developer for providing water service capacity;
Payment of fees for reserving water service capacity;
Forfeiture of reserved water supply service capacity for failure to pay applicable fees;
Payment of cost of any improvements to PWSC’s system that are necessary to provide the water service;
Construction according to design approved by PWSC and dedication by the developer of water facilities within the subdivision to PWSC following inspection and final acceptance by PWSC.
PWSC’s tariff and a map showing PWSC’s service area may be reviewed at PWSC office, 2990 FM 1185, Lockhart Texas, the tariff and service area map also are filed on record at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) in Austin, Texas and may be reviewed by contacting the TCEQ, c/o Utility Rates and Services (Certification and Rate Design Section), Water Utilities Division, P. O. Box 13087, Austin Texas 78711.

Bids submitted must be good for 120 days. Sealed bid envelopes should be marked “Wood Floors”. Proof of general liability and worker’s compensation coverage naming the City of Lockhart as an additional insured will be required before final award.
All bids must include all materials and labor required to finish the job per specs and plans available. In your bid, please include the time scope of completion and projected start date.
Due to the nature of this job. All potential bidders will be required to attend a pre-bid meeting on Friday, September 20th at 10am to discuss the scope and other necessary information needed for the restoration.
