Letters – Cookoff organizer thanks community

To the Central Texas Area:

I would like to personally thank the area businesses, the Lockhart Chamber of Commerce, the City of Lockhart and the Greater Caldwell County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for your support and participation in the Al Hopkins – Tolbert State Chili Championship held recently at the Lockhart City Park.

Your help, along with the support of

the general public that came out to enjoy the cookoff atmosphere, free chili and bean samples and the great music, made the cookoff a big success.

A special thanks goes out to all of the cooks and show teams that participated, and congratulations to all the winners.
Hope to see you all next March, and remember that everyone is always welcome at all our chili events.
