Letters – Habitat thanks sale participants

To the Editor:
Thanks once again to the citizens of Lockhart, Luling, and surrounding communities who turned out in force to support Caldwell County Habitat for Humanity, and for donating their gently-used, new or nearly-new  treasures to be sold at the Second Annual Garage Sale.
In spite of a heavy downpour at around 9 a.m. the day of the sale, people put up

their umbrellas and got under a canopy and “shopped ‘til they dropped!”
Thanks to Linda and Steve Brooks for the use of their garage and driveway to conduct our sale. Thanks to all of you who donated things to be sold.
And last but not last, thanks to those who bought things at our Second Annual Garage Sale. See you next year.
