Linda S. Capello
Linda S. Capello, 53, of Lockhart, passed away in Austin, Saturday, Dec. 24, 2005. She was born on Aug. 25, 1952 in Lockhart, Texas to Nolberto Capello and Felipa Montoya Capello.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her brothers, Norman Capello and wife Dora Mae of Jackson, Miss., and Ernest Capello and wife Kim of Carlsbad, N.M.; siste
rs, Mercedes Capello Lowman of Albertville, Ala. and Diane Voigt of Lockhart; and her special nieces and nephews.
She was a member and a catechist teacher at St. Mary”s Catholic Church and an Associate of the MCDP. She was Postmaster at Cedar Creek for 12 years, and then retired after serving more then 20 years for the postal service. She graduated from Lockhart High School in 1970, and in 1975 from Our Lady of the Lake in San Antonio with a Major in Psychology.
Rosary was held at 7p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 27 at McCurdy Funeral Home. Services were held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 28 at St. Mary”s Catholic Church, with Father Albert Ruiz and Father Robert Becker officiating.
Pallbearers in attendance were: Alan Lowman, Kent Lowman, Glenn Capello, Tommy Barron, Richard Ruiz and John Walters.
Memorials may be made to Christopher House or The Susan G. Koman Benefit Fund.
Arrangements under the care of McCurdy Funeral Home, 105 E. Pecan St., Lockhart.
