Lions fall to Reagan

The Lions had a disappointing loss to the Reagan Raiders who defeated them 19-3 Friday night at Nelson Field in Austin.
Despite the defeat, Lockhart”s Head Coach Bryce Monsen was pleased with the effort Lockhart made.
“We have a very good and very talented football team,” Monsen said. “We played real hard and I thought the kids fought to the end.”
“We”re le

arning and we”re doing a good job. We”re proud of our kids, those kids work hard we just gotta be able to execute a little more on offense and not turn the ball over and defensively keep playing hard.”
The game started with the Lions taking the early lead with a field goal by David Peebles from the 10-yard line at 11:41 in the first quarter. The first quarter ended with the Lions up 3-0.
