LISD participates in Unity Day
By LISD Staff

On October 22, schools in Lockhart participated in Unity Day to promote inclusion and highlight bullying prevention along with SSC Services for Education. The day consisted of a variety of celebrations and activities, including dressing staff in orange uniforms, publishing informational webpages and distributing pledge cards and posters in schools in the county, all tied to the theme of “Stronger Together”.
Bullying prevention remains a top concern in schools and districts across the U.S. When students feel safe, they succeed. SSC’s 2025 campaign includes 22 school districts across the country and 1,300 associates raising awareness.
