LJHS Lions battle Barton

The Lockhart Lions’ 8th grade “A” team traveled to play Barton on Thursday, Feb. 3. They found tough competition that only led to a 46-58 defeat.

7th-”White”
The Lockhart Lions’ 7th grade “white” team was victorious over Barton on Thursday, Feb. 3. The Lions heated up the gym as they took control of the game which led to their 29-12 win.
Scoring for the Lions was Bryan Mendez with 11 points on offense, while Tyler Tolley had another excellent game defensively.
“The boys have come a long way since the season opener,” said Coach Jake Hammons.
The team will face Wallace at home for their last game of the season on Feb. 10 at 5:30 p.m.
