Lockhart Lions Baseball Fall To Cedar Park Timberwolves Twice

The Lockhart Lions faced challenges against Cedar Park, resulting in a 14-6 defeat last Tuesday. A standout moment in the game was Gage Deutsch’s home run to left field, which brought in two runs during the bottom of the third inning for the Lions. Additionally, Jesse Flores and Weston Phillips contributed significantly, each recording two hits, while both Flores and Deutsch drove in two runs for the team.
The two teams met again on Friday and Cedar Park Timberwolves secured an 8-0 win against the Lockhart Lions, consistently increasing their lead throughout the game.
Gage Deutsch took the mound for Lockhart, where he pitched three innings, giving up four hits and four runs (two of which were earned). He recorded six strikeouts and issued three walks.
For Lockhart, Jeremiah James, Parker Conner, Avery Ybarra, and Jackson Isley each contributed with a hit, while Ybarra also showcased his speed by stealing two bases.
