Lorace Vaughan

Lorace Vaughan, 79, of Lytton Springs, went to be with the Lord on October 23, 2008. She was born on December 5, 1928, in Lytton Springs, to Howard and Viola (Eskew) Smith.

Lorace was a lifelong member of the Lytton Springs Baptist Church. Lorace married her husband Gerald “Bubba” Vaughn in Waelder, Texas, in 1947. She was active in community organizations such a

s the Homemaking Club in Lockhart, and the Quilting Club in Lytton Springs.
She is preceded in death by her husband Gerald “Bubba” Vaughan.

Lorace is survived by her daughters Pat Watson, and husband Byron, of Austin, Mary Desilets, of Round Rock; grandchildren Keith Desilets, Wendy Powers, and husband Chris, Jill Burnett, and husband Jonathan; and great-grandson Trent Powers.

Visitation and services were held at Lytton Springs Baptist Church at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 26, 2008. Burial followed at Lytton Springs Cemetery.
The family request that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Lytton Springs Baptist Church.
