Margaret G. Thompson

Margaret G. Thompson, 84, of Dale, Texas passed away on Aug. 16, 2007 in Austin, Texas. She was born March 4, 1923, to Bonifacio and Eufracia (Gonzales) Garza.
She is preceded in death by her parents and numerous brothers and sisters.
Margaret is survived by her son, James Cormier and wife, Dora of Niederwald; daughters, Gloria Holstine and husband Dave of Dale,

Sarah Endicott and husband, Mark of Buda, Angie Duggan and son Arnie of Jourdanton and Diane Stoner of Houston; sister, Mary Riojas and husband, Blas of Pharr; 15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She will greatly missed by all who knew her.
Her hobbies and pastimes were painting, gardening, growing flowers, dancing and country western music.
A prayer service was held at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 18, 2007 at McCurdy Funeral Home.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 19, 2007 at Bunton Cemetery, Dale, Texas. Deacon Pat Venglar officiated.
