Marie C. Burton

Graveside services for Mrs. Marie Burton, 92, of Lockhart will be held on Friday, Nov. 7, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Lytton Springs Cemetery in Lytton Springs, Texas.

Mrs. Burton passed away Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2008, at the Fairfield Nursing and Rehab Center in Fairfield. She was born May 18, 1916, in Lytton Springs and lived in the Lockhart area all of her life.
She work

ed for and operated various businesses in her lifetime before retiring.

She is survived by her daughter, Frederica McSwane and husband, W. R.; grandsons, Marshall McSwane and wife, Nancy, Will McSwane and wife, Kathy, all of Teague; great-grandchildren: Vicky McSwane of Dallas, Marsha Black and husband, Martin, of Dew, Georgiana Hudson and husband, Zack, of Lipan, Maysel McSwane and Cam McSwane of Teague, great-great-grandchildren: Emery Black and Parker Black, of Dew; and nephew, Jackie Campbell of Lytton Springs.

Mrs. Burton was preceded in death by her husband, Ted M. Burton; her parents, J. A. and Dona Campbell; and brother, Jack Campbell.
