Mary Jewel Deane

Mary Jewel Deane was born June 21, 1921 and departed January 28, 2018 at the age of 96.
Jewel was preceded in death by her parents, Luis Milam and Alice Gann Milam; her husband, Claude Deane; her sister, Georgie Cooper; her brother, LB Miles and her two daughters, Connie Deane Young and Kitty Deane. She is survived by her son, Joe Deane and wife, Cindy; daughters, Shirley Deane Mitchell and husband, Charles and Betty Deane Doran and husband, Jimmy. Jewel has eight grandkids; fifteen great-grandkids; six great-great grandkids as well as numerous friends in the Senior center community.
Jewel enjoyed spending as much time as she could at the Senior Center in Lockhart and was an avid bingo player.
There will be a visitation at McCurdy funeral home Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
