Mr. Jesse Louis Mohle

Mr. Jesse Louis Mohle, 81, of Lockhart died Feb.1, 2006. Mr. Mohle was born Dec.18, 1924 in Lockhart to Jesse Louis and Mildred Finfrock Mohle.
He was united in marriage to Nell Fouty Dec. 24, 1954 in Lockhart.
Mr. Mohle was a retired Newspaper Publisher and Editor. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Lockhart, where he served as Elder Emeritus. He w

as a student of Lockhart Sports, as well as past Post Commander of the H. T. Rainey Post 41 of the American Legion, past President of the Lockhart Kiwanis Club, past President of the Lockhart Chamber of Commerce, served as Player”s Agent for the Lockhart Little League for many years, past President of the South Texas Press Association and a member of the University of Texas Glee Club.
Mr. Mohle served his country in the Army Air Force in the Pacific Theater during World War II.
Mr. Mohle is survived by his beloved wife Nell Mohle of Lockhart; sons and daughters-in-law Terry and Pamela Mohle and Clint and Julie Mohle all of Lockhart; daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Mike Chamness of Lockhart; brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Emma Lue Mohle of Lockhart; grandchildren, Jessica Danielle Mohle, Samantha Frances Mohle, Camille Rae Mohle, Trenton Louis Mohle, Tyler Lucas Mohle, Kalyn Michelle Chamness, Jacey Jane Chamness and Ashlyn Elizabeth Chamness.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Feb. 4, 2006 at the First Christian Church with Rev. Randy Frye officiating. Interment followed in the Lockhart City Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were, Gary Richards, Brian Richards, Gary Louis Tidmore, Otto Meyers, Alan Fielder and Chris Henrick. Honorary pallbearers named were the members of the First Christian Church.
