Nancy Alsop

Nancy Marie Alsop, of Lockhart, was born April 13, 1939, to Willie Winnie and Claude Ray Smith of, Tucson, Ariz., and passed away late Monday, March 17, 2014. She worked at the Lockhart School District for years as a cafeteria manager before retiring to stay home and work in her garden.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eugene “Geno” Alsop, of Mend

oza, and a brother; Jack Smith, of Lockhart.

Nancy is survived by siblings; Barbara and Calvin Koch, of California; children; Candy and Rico Elswick, of Lockhart, Teala Reynolds, of California, Glenn and Lisa Ayers, of California, Tommy and Tracy Alsop, of Arizona, Tim and Mary Alsop, of Washington, and Danny and Nikki Alsop, of Colorado; grandchildren: Jay Alsop, Kelly “Kitten” Witcher, Danny Alsop, Jr., Whittney Delucio, Chet Ayers, Vernon Alsop and Richard Alsop; great-grandchildren: Aubrianna Alsop, Cambria Delucio and Cali Delucio; many more family members and friends.
