Norberto Salazar Castañeda

Norberto Salazar Castañeda, 64 years old, passed away peacefully on October 5th, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born June 6, 1960, Norberto was known for his unwavering strength, resilience, and dedication to his family. Throughout his life, he worked tirelessly to provide for his loved ones, always putting their needs before his own.

As a devoted life partner and father, Norberto embraced his role with an open heart and calm admiration. He gave stability and offered support in building a future for his children. His selflessness and kindness made a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

In addition to his role as a family man, Norberto had a strong work ethic, committing himself fully to every task, no matter how big or small. His colleagues admired him for his dedication and determination, even as he faced the challenges of his illness.

Norberto will be remembered for his bravery in the face of adversity and his deep love for his family. He leaves behind his loving companion, Porfiria Gonzales, his children and countless family and friends who will miss him dearly, our “Daddy Chino”.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday, October 11, 2024, with the recitation of the holy rosary will be 7:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at DeLeon Funeral Home at to honor his life and legacy.
