Favorite thing(s) about teaching at Lockhart ISD: “The way they (LISD) believe in their staff and their students. I’ve never felt so supported and capable of doing my job until working here. Also, my wonderful Carver family, my amazing special education team and our students. They are the bright spots in my day.”
How would your friends describe you? “Thoughtful, dependable, loyal, helpful, and passionate.”
What values are most important to you? “Kindness, honesty, and dependability.”
Talents: “Listening, planning, and organizing.”

Hobbies: “Helping in my community and traveling.”
What brings you hope? “Getting to see my students demonstrate their learning, even when they are not able to talk and verbally express their learning. It reminds me that you are more than your disability and there are no limits to what you can do!
Family: Husband, Cody; kids, Colton and Alexandria and foster-to-adopt daughter; four dogs and one cat.
