Reuben Guy Spencer

Reuben Guy Spencer, born Jan. 28, 1961, to W. S. “Pete” and Joyce Spencer, drifted off to be with our Lord on Sunday May 1, 2011. Reuben graduated from Lockhart High School in 1979 and remained living in and around the Lockhart area.

He is survived by his wife, Pam Spencer of Dale; and three step children: Robert Hackley, of Yelm, Wash., Cameron Stripling, of Lockhart, a

nd Jessica Stripling, of Dale.  He leaves behind his siblings James Spencer, Teresa Koch and Brenda Davis, as well as many relatives – not to mention the many, many friends who will miss him dearly.

The family chose private funeral services, and suggested that those who wished should make a donation in Reuben’s name to the American Cancer Society, in lieu of flowers.
