Roaring Lion Band prepares for 2026 season 

     The sound of Lockhart is starting to take shape as the Lockhart ISD Roaring Lion Band and Color Guard get to work at their annual summer camp.

 Students are spending their summer days rehearsing music, practicing routines and putting in plenty of repetitions as they prepare for the upcoming season. Each note, step and run-through brings the group closer to taking the field and filling Lockhart with the familiar sound of the Roaring Lion Band.

     Summer camp gives band and color guard members an opportunity to sharpen their skills, build teamwork and prepare for performances throughout the school year.

     The community is encouraged to cheer on the students as they continue to improve and represent Lockhart with pride. The 2026 season is just getting started, and the Roaring Lions are already putting in the work.
