Sallie Foreman
Sallie Hoover Foreman, 79, of Schertz, Texas, passed away on April 27, 2014. She was born on Sept. 24, 1934, in Waller County, Texas to James Wesley and Sallie Hunter Bolen Hoover.
Sallie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. An avid gardener, she also loved to cook and do needle work. She liked to listen to country music as well, and taught her grand
children the beauty and fun of the “old-time country music”
She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jimmy Foreman; two sisters, Dorothy Reed, of Lockhart, and Eula Mae Martin, of Mason, Texas; four sons: Richard E. Foreman and wife, Cheryl, of McKinney, Texas, Vincent K. Foreman and wife, Shelly, of Schertz, Steven G. Foreman and Jeffrey W. Foreman, of New Braunfels, Texas; one daughter, Pamela G. Martin and husband, Gary, of Schertz; ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Family planned to friends at McCurdy Funeral Home from 5 – 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30, 2014. Funeral Services were scheduled at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at McCurdy Funeral Home, Lockhart with Rev. Gary Rodgers officiating.
