San Juana N. Rojas
San Juana N. Rojas, age 84, of Lockhart, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. Born to Patricio and Andrea Natal on May 16, 1940, in Fentress, Texas, San Juana was a loving and caring individual who dedicated her life to her family and faith. San Juana was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Antonio Rojas Fuentes; her brothers, Mucio Natal, Gonzalo Natal, and Toby Natal; and her sisters, Lydia Natal, Mage Natal Sanchez, and Santos Natal Ruiz. She is survived by her son, Robert Banda, Jr. and his wife Juana; her daughter, Becky Natal; her sister, Dominga Baltierra; and her grandchildren, Jose Angel Rojas, Marcos Rojas, Rocky (Sly) Natal Urrutia, Roberto Daniel Banda, and Ricardo Banda. Described as loving, caring, and hardworking, San Juana’s dedication to her family was evident in every aspect of her life. She was a devoted homemaker who loved to cook, and she cherished her role as a mother and grandmother. Her favorite colors were white and pink, and she had a special fondness for her cat and little dog, Fifi. White and pink roses were among her favorite flowers. A devout Catholic, San Juana’s faith was a cornerstone of her life. Family events were of great importance to her, whether it was celebrating Becky’s quinceañera or expressing concern for her son Robert as he moved to Lubbock. Her legacy is one of unwavering love and dedication to her family, and she will be remembered as a loving wife who devoted many years to her marriage and family. If San Juana could speak to those attending her service, she would undoubtedly express her heartfelt gratitude for the kindness and support shown to her family during this time.
The family will receive friends and family on Monday, August 12, 2024 from 2:00 p.m., with the recitation of the holy rosary at 7:00 p.m. at DeLeon Funeral Home. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with Reverend Father Ramiro Tarazona officiating, followed by burial in San Pablo Cemetery.
San Juana’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
