Special Olympians shine
Members of the Lockhart ISD Special Olympics bowling team had an outstanding showing at the Area 13 Tournament in November. Collectively, the team brought home 5 gold medals, 5 silver medals, 3 bronze medals, and 8 fourth place finishes. For the first time ever, LISD had athletes from 6 different campuses competing.
