Take Me Home donation

Take Me Home – Advocates for Transport was the beneficiary of a local chili cookoff on June 3 at The Last Chance Tavern and hosted by Tom Stephens, Terry Wright and Ron Faulstich. Pictured is the presentation of $6,000 which was raised. Andrea Theriot and Susan Patterson of Take Me Home were thrilled to accept the much-appreciated donation. Take Me Home supports the Lockhart Animal Shelter by transporting dogs from the shelter to other states where they are quickly adopted.
