Virginia Bazar

Virginia Luten Bazar left her bedroom in her daughter and son-in-law’s home in Lockhart, Texas, to claim her reward in Heaven on Sept. 9, 2009. If you hear of clever graffiti on the pearly gates, that would be Virginia, the artist and bon vivant. We have transported her mortal coil to All Faiths Services in Austin to be converted into an earth-friendly reduction, which we

will release in an appropriate venue at a serendipitous time.

Virginia was born in Caruthersville, Mo., on Aug. 5, 1919. A memorial service was held in Mercedes, Texas, her home of 65 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Bazar, and son-in-law, David Mitchell.
